He’s the son of King Yuga Khan and Queen Heggra and once his name was Prince Uxas, second in line to the throne of Apokolips. Uxas murdered his brother Drax when Drax attempted to obtain the vastly-powerful Omega Force and Uxas took the power for himself. The Omega Force transformed him into a rock-like inhuman monster and he was baptized in the fire pits of Apokolips by a new name: DARKSEID!!
