Meltdown Comics – June 2014

Legendary Neal Adams (Batman,Green Lantern Green Arrow, Xmen,Ms Mystic, Creator’s rights fighter) will be doing a Store Signing Event at LA/Hollywood’s biggest and most incredible comic book store on Saturday, June 28th . The store is called “Meltdown Comics” Neal will be starting his Event with a showing of “Blood” a creator owned series that Neal did for “Dark Horse Presents” which is now being collected into a Graphic Novel from Dark Horse, which I hear rumor will have a very animated 3D Lenticular lens Cover. Neal and his studio Continuity have been animating the comic the same way they did Astonishing XMen the Motion Comic from Marvel. Neal is adding CGI to really bring his comic to Life and new tricks that they have learned since they worked on Astonishing Xmen. We at Continuity are very excited about this showing of our rough clip because it is the first project we are doing that is ours. Continuity works on many projects commercially since they are a very well known studio in the land of advertising and comics. Yes, the Nasonex bee was designed by Neal at Continuity and the first four commercials which were all CGI was done by his company Continuity Studios.

Neal decided to play with the taboo of blood with his series “BLOOD” so we have been working hard on making the blood elements exciting and interesting. Neal has been working very hard to bring Blood to Life. He will be showing the rough clip of Blood and then following with a Q&A. Then Neal will be discussing the “Behind the Scene of The Silver Age of Comics” at the time that Neal got into the comic business after having a successful career already in the newspaper syndicate with “Ben Casey” Neal has had this presentation once before and people have loved it. Many stories, that have not been heard before. I can’t miss story time with Neal. This will also be followed up with a Q&A

Neal then will move on to signing comics and prints and he will be selling art as well. Like I said in the beginning this is a “STORE EVENT!” Not just a comic book creator signing.

“Meltdown Comics” with “Sweet Candy” a boutique candy maker have also decided at this “Store Event “to release a set of six exclusive signature series candy bars as a set. Yes, I said Chocolate Candy Bars, the really good chocolate comes in a box with some of the Best characters from Neal’s comic company Continuity Comics. Characters like Armor which is dark chocolate with raspberry fill, dangerous but sexy, Crazyman which is full of almond nuts because he’s Crazy and of course our very successful Bucky O’Hare comes with a crispy treat in Milk Chocolate. Then we did a set of three with some of Neal’s best, illustrated paintings. You’ll have to check below for that. This is a, CAN”T MISS, opportunity to spend an exciting and really fun day at a very big comfortable wonderful store “Meltdown Comics” with a very entertaining and talented man Neal Adams, in a very relaxed atmosphere. 1:30 June 28th.
