In the midst of a war-torn country, Superman while doing his best to save civilians from stray bombing, is confronted by what looks like…an alien? Or is he possibly a New God we haven’t seen before? How does he know so much about the Man of Steel and what are the secrets of Darkseid’s past that this creature reveals? For Superman this will all come down to a matter of who to trust and who is using Superman for his own ulterior motives.
